Specializes in Humanities and Social Sciences get the highest score of 7 points each subject

According to an announcement on the afternoon of June 19 of the High School for the Gifted of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University, grade 10 for gifted students in Literature got the highest standard, 1 point higher than last year.

With the formula for calculating the total score of three subjects in Mathematics, Literature and English and the professional scores multiplied by a factor of two, candidates with an average of 7 points for each subject will be admitted to grade 10, majoring in Literature.

The two classes specializing in History and Geography took the same benchmark, 30 and 30.1 respectively, up about 2 points compared to last year.

The school will consider admission from the top down until the quota is exhausted. In addition to achieving the standard score, candidates must take the exam in all subjects, no subject below 4 points, especially for specialized subjects from 6 or more.

Before 5:00 p.m. on June 24, candidates who do not pass the special education program can register for a high-quality class. All candidates need to confirm their admission before 5:00 p.m. on June 27.

This year, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities recruited 170 students, of which 136 were in the special education system and 34 were in the high-quality system. The total number of students registered for admission is nearly 1,600.

High School for the Gifted of Social Sciences and Humanities was established in October 2019. This is the fourth high school affiliated to Hanoi National University, which enrolls students independently with the 10th grade exam of the Department of Education and Training.
